Anti Aging Treatment

In anti aging treatment it makes no difference how well the peripheral systems are functioning if the brain is to working at optimal capacity. At the heart of every anti aging treatment program should be optimization of cognitive function. The following is a case study submitted by a physician using the NeuroResearch approach in the elderly.

Case study

Al Stein, MD Plantation, Florida

My most outstanding result with 5-HTP, tyrosine, levodopa, and cysteine therapy has occurred in 87 year-old person who was seen on March 31, 2006.  A very recent psychological evaluation for cognitive functioning included a mini mental state examination (MMSE), clinical interview, and mental status evaluation. The person scored 15 out of a possible 30 on the MMSE.  She was unable to interact, or converse in a logical or coherent manner, and her responses were frequently illogical and inappropriate to the questions.

The psychologist concluded that the person was suffering major cognitive dysfunction and senile dementia.  An individual with this level of impairment would be unable to function independently. The family sought an Alzheimer facility for custodial care.

She was started on level 1 5-HTP, tyrosine, levodopa, and cysteine dosing.  One week later there was not much change.  We increased her to level 2 5-HTP, tyrosine, levodopa, and cysteine dosing.

On May 2, 2006 she returned to the office alert, making sense.  She was able to hold a conversation, knew her birthday, was smiling, talkative, and happy.  Her family was amazed.

She had had an episode of several days of severely foul-smelling stools for what seemed to be no specific reason.  This  was probably her body discharging petrochemicals and aromatic hydrocarbons that had been stored in her body and were making her toxic.  The cysteine/selenium formula developed by Dr. Hinz no doubt helped her liver clear these items through the intestinal tract.

The family elected to keep the person at home.

The person currently lives in her own apartment with a companion.  She likes to get dressed in bright colored clothes, enjoys going out to the malls, visiting with other people.  She has returned to the world of the cognizant, social people while continuing to take the 5-HTP, tyrosine, levodopa, and cysteine treatment program.  She is doing very well now in her 88th year and is very happy

Its no secret, NeuroResearch Clinics uses the nutrients 5-HTP, tyrosine, levodopa, and cysteine with neurotransmitter tests as indicted to treat disease. Proper use these simple ingredients is not simple. Occasionally a patient will say, "Why should I take that, I buy it in a health food store?" People off the street buying neurotransmitter nutrients in a health food store is like going to an art store and buying oil paints then going home and expecting to paint like a master artist with no previous painting experience. This is sophisticated neurotransmitter medical treatment. Nutrients have tremendous neurotransmitter treatment potential due to the chemical properties. This neurotransmitter is only fully realized by the trained professional.

The NeuroResearch Clinics Peer Reviewed research

The research findings of NeuroResearch Clinics have not been ignored. The University of Minnesota Medical School is writing a series of papers on the neurotransmitter testing research of NeuroResearch Clinics. The first of a series of papers by University of Minnesota Medical School based on the neurotransmitter testing research of NeuroResearch was published in "NeuroPsychiatric Disease and Treatment" May 1, 2009. Ingrid Kohlstadt, MD of Johns Hopkins in her new medical text book released February 7, 2009 included a chapter on depression written by Marty L. Hinz, MD  President Clinical Research NeuroResearch Clinics outlining in depth the proper use of amino acids and neurotransmitter testing in treatment of depression.
