Insomnia-For
Health
Professionals:
Sleeping
pills
may
be
indicated
for
severe sleep
disturbance
of
limited
duration.
The
patient
in
the
hospital
and
the
patient
with
the
loss
of a
loved
one
who
has
not
slept
for
several
days
all may
need
a
few
nights
of
sleeping
pills.
Sleeping
pills
should
not
be
used
on a
long
term
basis
for
months
of
years.
Over
time
their
effectiveness
wears
off
and
they
become
habit
forming
or
addicting.
Sleeping
pills
also
have
a
"hang
over"
effect
in
many
patients
where
functioning
during
the
day
is
effected
in a
negative
manner.
|
|
Sleep
hygiene
needs
to
be
addressed
but
in
most
cases
this
is a
very
low
yield
form
of
treatment
especially
in
the
face
of
"true
chronic
insomnia".
|
|
Melatonin
and
5-HTP
may
be
perceived
as
being
of
some
benefit
by
some
patients
but
formal
studies
reveal
that
both
are
not
much
more
effective
than
a
sugar
pill
and
they
do
nothing
to
correct
the
neurotransmitter
problems
with
serotonin
and
norepinephrine
that
are driving
the
insomnia. |
|
Under
the
NeuroResearch
Clinics
approach
the
goal
of
treatment
is
to
get
the
serotonin
and
dopamine
in
the
phase
3
therapeutic
range
at
which
point
optimization
of
the
neurotransmitter
is
completed.
"The
three
phases
of
neurotransmitter
response"
as
defined
and
identified
by
NeuroResearch
Clinics
has
been
published
by
the
University
of
Minnesota
Medical
School.
The
ability
to
not
just
manipulate
but
optimize
serotonin,
dopamine,
norepinephrine,
and
epinephrine
is a
powerful
tool
with
applications
far
beyond
insomnia. |

The NeuroResearch Clinics Insomnia-For
Health
Professionals |
|
Its no secret, NeuroResearch Clinics uses the nutrients 5-HTP, tyrosine, levodopa, and cysteine to treat medical patients
in order to get the results
documented by our doctors, Proper
use these simple
ingredients in medical treatment is not simple.
From time to time a patient will
say, "Why do I want to take that, I
can go to a health food store and
buy it?" People off the street
buying in a health food store is like going to an art
store and buying a bunch of oil
paints then going home and expecting
to paint like a mater artist even
though there was no previous
painting experience. Having been in
medicine since 1972 I can firmly
state that use of 5-HTP, tyrosine,
levodopa, and cysteine, in medical
clinics, with urinary
neurotransmitter testing is some of
the most sophisticated medical
treatment in medicine.
These nutrients have tremendous
potential due to their chemical
properties. The potential is only
fully realized in the hands of the
trained professional. Treatment is
not just giving a nutrient pill, it is the whole medical approach
doctors are trained in to manage the
disease properly and make sure that
that the whole treatment plan is on
track to get symptoms under control. |
