A7: There is only one company that has it right when it
comes to using serotonin and dopamine therapy for
neurotransmitters with
5-HTP, tyrosine,
and levodopa,
and that is NeuroResearch. Urine neurotransmitter testing of serotonin and dopamine before starting
therapy with
5-HTP, tyrosine,
and dopa
is worthless and the information is meaningless.

A8: One of the most interesting feuds in Medicine is the
testing of urinary neurotransmitters testing of serotonin and dopamine.
I have been persuaded by my reading and clinical use of
5-HTP, tyrosine, and L-dopa to rebalance
abnormalities, that Dr. Marty Hinz of Neuro Research has the
most accurate view of the proper interpretation. He states
categorically that urine serotonin and dopamine
neurotransmitter levels are useless prior to intensive
5-HTP, tyrosine, and dopa
therapy! He supports that viewpoint with EXTENSIVE
references in basic scientific literature. See
